homework- analysis of 3 teen films

Coach carter: the main target audience is teenagers of Black and Hispanic and White teenagers who live in with  working class families and areas know as the 'projects'. the characters in film portray teenagers who come from deprived areas but have aspirations to do better than what society expects them to do but they are only held back by some teenage problems such as gangs , teenage pregnancy, grief , education etc. which are many problems that most teenagers face into today's society.

Hunger games: the main target audience is teenage girls  aged 13-18 as the main character is a girl and is shown to be strong minded and inspirational  this would attract audiences of teenage  girls as they want to relate to a character that is seen as a 'fictional role model' so they can aspire to be like them.

Chronicle: the main target audience is aimed at teenage boys aged around 14-18 who are into superhero films but also films genres such as thriller, the three characters in the film are stereotypical boy characters that we see in most teen films such as the ' popular jock' the 'outkast nerd' and the 'average joe' which most teenages boys can relate to.
