EVALUATION OF FRAMMING IN SHOTS RECORDED

In preparation for our filming process we were given a tutorial on how to get good framming.

Here is the tick list for the key elements to framming:

  • Keep the camera still (Achieved)
  • vary shots (A.)
  • Actors walk in/out of shot (A.)
  • Use tracking shots (A.)
  • Shoot plenty of cutaways (Failed)
  • Mirror the actors POV (F.)
  • Pan slowly in one direction only (A.)
  • Dont zoom (A.)
  • Focus on subject (A.)
  • Continuity is vital (A.)
  • Match cuts (A.)
  • The thirds rule (A. to an extent)
  • Close ups (A.)
  • No head space (A.)
