Planning final project ideas

My  teen film revolves around a nerd who narrates the film to the audience, giving the audience an insight of his feelings and emotions. The main focus of the film is how Reggie struggles with his high school and social life. Reggie Bernard is your average nerd from Seattle, who excels very well academically but struggles to make friends as he is anti-social. He is bullied by the Jocks on a daily basis due to his apathetic behavior towards his fashion. However, it's his last year in High school and he is determined to leave his mark in particular ways and on particular people. For example, the girl he fancies and the jocks who have continuously bullied him throughout the years.

We adapted & created  ideas from TV shows such as R.j Berger and the movie Napoleon Dynamite as i felt these two characters best fit the description for Reggie.

R.J Berger character 

As you can see I have taken the ideas from each character such as I have kept the nerdy colours from R.J Begers to show that my character is seen as intimidating like a Jock would wear Red or black but since my character is wearing a multi-coloured shirt he is seen as more of a happy and joyful person. Reggie has adapted the  mannerisms of Napoleon Dynamite as having a nerdy voice and a formal way of wearing clothes. I have added my own features to the character which included him wearing a pair of Nike Air Max 1's to give him a retro 80's look as most people used to wear trainers like this, he has also adopted a tie to give him an nerdy look and it doesn't match his shirt so it implies that he lacks fashion sense as a stereotypical nerd would do.
