Filming Friday

During the half term on Friday Group 30 went on to their second shoot of filming after an successful shoot last week Thursday. We had to film the scene where Devon would ride his bike to college and would then meet the other characters (The Jock and Sweetheart)

The first scene that we did was when Devon had gotten ready and was walking down the stair case, this scene was very tricky as we had to put the tri-pod in a safe position as it could easily fall down the stair case  breaking the camera equipment and possibly hurting Devon. 

 

After we had finished that scene we had to film where Devon would put on his sunglasses to add a certain 'coolness' effect that you would normal see in shows like C.S.I Miami so he wasn't seemed like a typical nerd. Below you can see what I meant  by the cool glasses effect and a shot of devon about to do it.

The bike 

When that scene had finish we had to film the scene where Devon would ride his bike to college and there he would encounter the other characters this scene was tricky as we where losing day light fast and this road was very busy during that day.Also this was the scene where Devon would get attacked and bullied by the Jock and he would get a basketball thrown at him which caused us some safety issues as we are not a professionals with a budget which meant that we would have to do our own stunts.

On Thursday the 27/02/14 we plan to re shoot the first scene as the footage was to dark and there was some improvements that we work on.
