- Everyone loves a bit of Reggae
- Its unexpected of Reggie's character to listen to Reggae therefore it adds a bit of depth and mystery to his character.
We plan to use the music for when Reggie is cycling through the suburbs of Crouch End to get to school. songs i would love to use include:
The reason i think this song would work well is because it has a bouncy vibe to it which matches the cycling of Reggie.
This song would work well as it is about riding a bicycle which obviously fits excellently with what we hope to show in the film.
These examples would be perfect, however these songs are patented therefore we would have to ask the owner of the songs permission before we used it, and to be quite frank i don't think my ghost whispering skills are good enough to make contact with bob if i'm quite honest.
To overcome this rather large obstacle, we will have to use creative commons as source of wondrous Reggae sounds and ting.
Here is a list i wrote when researching the Reggae archive of free music via SoundCloud:
- RDX - Wata Truck (Marco Polo Riddim)
- Vybz Kartel - Convertible (Jupiter Riddim)
- Gold Dancehall Mixtape - One World Reggae Sound
- Dreadsquad & Ward21 - Jump & Skip
- Reggae Bar Promo Mix
- Junglegasm II
- Pepper's Spirit - Mix Dubstep/Reggae
- Tarrus Riley & Konshens - Good Girl Gone Bad (Dreadsquad remix)
These are all possibilities for the music we could use in the final scene...
