Interview with mum
Korrie: So mum what was teenage films like when you where around my age?
Mum: Well i didn't watch a lot of teen films as i lived in Jamaica and teen films wasn't as popular here as in countries such as America and the UK. But when i moved over to London in the 80's i started to watch more of them.
Korrie: What were your favorites?
Mum: Well, i have many but i mostly enjoy Breakfast club because i had an extreme crush on the rebel guy.
Korrie: You mean Judd Nelson right ?
Mum :Yeah!, him he was so good looking back then.
Korrie: Wait you had teenage crushes?, oh my.
Mum: Yes i did , you know we are all young once Korrie.
Korrie: It looks like you hardly watch any Teen films now why is that?
Mum: Well i had kids, especially one annoying one...
Korrie: Seriously mum?
Mum: I'm just kidding, well i grew up and stopped watching them after i had your older sister, teen films kind of lost their touch and originality , they became more to do with drugs and sexual activity which when i grew up watching teen films they hardly included this.
Korrie: So films like American pie?
Mum: Yeah! films like that, way too raunchy for you teenagers. I hope you haven't watched any of those films Korrie?
Korrie: I can't promise that.
Mum: Korrie!?
Korrie: sorry, haha alright thanks mum.
