Music for our teen film

As me and group are now approaching deadline for our pitch we need to find music that can go with our opening. Since we are going to trick our audience to think that our main character is cool but really is a nerd. I have decide that we should use Old school Hip-Hop music as this type of music makes a character seem cool and popular and the reason why I have chosen old school instead of rap music of today is that me and my group are going for and 90's feel as we want to included niche audiences of a older age due to we are a tent pole film so we need to attract as much people from different targets audiences to watch are film in order to make enough profit.

As I was born in 97 I didn't have as much experience listen to old school Hip-Hop music which was very popular in the 90's. In order to find Old school Hip-hop music i researched about Hip-Hop artist who very big at the time such as Bigge smalls, 2pac , Gangstarr etc. During my research i came across an app that 'TuneGlue' this app allows me to search any musical artist name then it comes up with other musical artist that are similar to the one you searched.

Now with a greater knowlegde of Hip-Hop music i was able to use  creative commons to find free copy right Hip-Hop music, after researching I have found 4 pieces of music that may use:

What I like best about each track:
1) This is the track that I am most likely to use for my opening as this really shows the feel im going for as this music can really trick the audience into thinking our main character is really cool. It aslo says at the start "lets party" with this being said I can make my main character seem cool as you would stereotype someone who says this to be popular as many popular people attened parties.
2) This track is the sort of music my father would play to me while i'll be in carseat when i was a kid, the techno feel makes it sound very retro and old school which is what im looking for in my opening and the rapper lyrics are catchy and fast paced which is good as my main character will be riding a bike on his journey.
3)At the 13:00 mark i enjoy the drop and sudden change of beat which switches to a more upbeat sound, also the scratching sound really emphasis the sound of Old school Hip-Hop music as scratching is a key code and convention of that genre.
4) I enjoy this track as it brings a funky feel to opening which i am also for as my character tries to be cool but comes of more of a goofy nerd so the sound compliments him.
